Here it is, update 1!
Ben even wezen foto's maken, zodat jullie ook een beeld krijgen, van hoe de Fiat er nu bij staat.. Het is niet superspectaculair, er valt nog weinig auto in te herkennen, maar de weg is nog lang!
I went making pictures, so you guys get a visual by my story, so you know the Fiats status at the moment. It's not super spectacular, there is not a lot car to recognize, but the road is long!
Er komt vanzelf vorm in! Heb ook nog wat foto's van m'n pa zijn collectie gemaakt, zodat je kan zien hoe de Fiat eruit kán zien als ie wél in elkaar staat!
Shape is coming along! I've also made a few pics from my dads collection, so you can see how the Fiat will look like if it's all in 1 piece!
Helaas konden de dorpels er deze week niet in worden gelast, dus dat wordt een andere keer.. Daarnaast moeten er nog een paar kleine dingen gelast worden, in de wielkast een paar plekjes bijvoorbeeld.
Unfortunately, the doorsteps could't be welded this week, so that's gonna be another time. Next to that, there are some little spots that need a bit welding, in the wheelhousings for example.
Daarna kan de bodem in de tectiel, de plekjes in de plamuur, en daarna beginnen met schuren!:)
When that's done, the bottom of the car can be painted in undercoat, the spots can be filled with putty, and then, we can abrade the whole car, to make it paint ready!
Ook moeten m'n pa en ik nog even winkelen, voor een setje nieuwe koplampen, spatborden links en rechts, zodat het plaatwerk en de lichtenwinkel weer compleet is! Nieuwe achterlichten en knipperlichten waren namelijk al aanwezig!
My dad and I need to go shopping, for some new headlights, fenders, so the bodywork is complete! New backlights and flashers are there already!
Het valt een beetje moeilijk te zien op de foto's, maar de kleur van de Fiat is hetzelfde als in de motorruimte... Een beetje antraciet metallic, mooie kleur dacht ik zelf!
It is a bit hard to see on the pictures, but the color of the Fiat is the same as the color in the engine compartment.. A bit metallic anthracite, a nice color I think!
